1. Introduction
Gallu ("we", "our", "us") operates the Gallu iOS application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information (optional)
If you sign in with Apple, we receive from Apple the information you choose to share:
- Display name (first and last name — only shared on first sign-in)
- Email address (may be your real address or an Apple-generated relay)
Sign-in is optional. You can play without an account.
Gameplay data
- Country you select or that is detected from your device locale
- Number of goals scored and conceded per match
- Win/loss results used to compute leaderboard rankings
- Timestamps of completed matches
Technical data
We store a randomly generated player ID (UUID) to link your scores across sessions. We do not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display your name on in-app leaderboards (if you choose to sign in)
- To calculate country rankings and time-window rankings (6h, 12h, daily)
- To maintain your game statistics across sessions
- To show interstitial ads at half-time via Google AdMob (see Section 4)
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 4.
4. Data Processors
We use the following third-party services to store, process, or monetise the App:
- Supabase (database and authentication) — supabase.com/privacy
- Google AdMob (in-app advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy. AdMob may use your advertising identifier (IDFA) to serve personalised ads, subject to the consent you grant via the in-app prompt (see Section 4a).
Authentication credentials are managed by Apple and Supabase. We never store your Apple ID password.
4a. Advertising & Consent Management
The App shows a brief interstitial ad at half-time. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we ask for your consent before serving personalised ads, in accordance with the GDPR and Google's EU User Consent Policy.
How to manage or revoke your consent:
- In the app — open Settings and tap Manage privacy preferences. The consent form will reappear and you can change your choice at any time.
- By email — write to privacy@gallu.app and we will process your request within 30 days.
Revoking consent means you may still see ads, but they will not be personalised to your interests.
5. Data Retention
We keep your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. Children
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Sign-in is optional, so children can play without providing any personal information.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
